Managers has taken a number of important steps to ensure that your financial information is safe and secure on the Web:
- When registering for Online Account Access, a Social Security Number must be entered. This information is automatically verified before access is allowed, but you will not have to use it each time you enter the site.
- We require that you establish a User ID and Personal Identification Number (PIN) in order to access your account online. Your PIN must be 6 to 10 characters long and must include letters, and at least two numbers Getting a PIN for details.
- After three failed log on attempts, access is automatically denied. To restore Online Account Access capability, you will have to call Shareholder Services at 800.548.4539 between 8:00 a.m. and 8:00 p.m. Eastern time, Monday through Friday.
- As soon as you click on the Access Account Now button, you enter a secured zone of the Managers Web site, which runs from a secure server. Your browser will show you that you are connected to a secure server because the web address will begin with https.
- Your account information is transmitted via the Internet with 128-bit encryption, the highest level of encryption available to individual Web users.
- After 15 minutes of inactivity during a given session, the system will time out and disconnect you. To re-enter Online Account Access you will have to start a new session.
- Redemption proceeds are sent only to the owner(s) of the account and to the address or bank account on file.

To ensure a safe on-line experience, not only do we utilize 128-bit SSL encryption, we will soon implement an enhanced authentication process for account access. This new process will help protect you from “phishing” schemes by allowing you to select a unique image that you will see each time you come to our site, allowing you to be sure you are accessing the Managers site. Additionally, the new feature will require you to answer a few extra questions when you log on to our site for the first time after we upgrade the account access portion of www.managersinvest.com. You will only need to go through these steps one time for each computer you use to access your account. If you use multiple computers to access your account, you may be asked a question or two, in addition to entering your existing username and password to verify your identity. We hope you find this security enhancement easy to use.
