Throughout and post your relationship with Managers Investment Group LLC, respecting and protecting your privacy is of the utmost importance. In providing our clients with investment management services, we receive and collect certain personal information about our clients from information provided to us, and through our clients’ account inquiries by mail, e-mail or telephone. In addition, we receive and collect information about our clients’ transactions with us, our affiliates and others, such as purchases, sales and account balances.

Within our firm and among our service providers, we restrict access to personal information to those who require it to provide products and services to our clients. We may share the personal information that we collect with the following: (i) affiliates (ii) unaffiliated service providers (iii) government agencies, other regulatory bodies and law enforcement officials (iv) other organizations, with clients’ consent or as directed by our clients’ representative and (v) other organizations, as permitted by law (for example, for fraud prevention). In the case of unaffiliated service providers, we contractually require them to use this information only for the services for which they are contracted, and to treat our clients’ private information with the strictest confidence.

All our employees are subject to our internal policies, which are reinforced in our written guidelines. In addition, we maintain physical, electronic and procedural safeguards to protect our clients’ nonpublic personal information from unauthorized use.

The Managers Funds and Managers AMG Funds Privacy Policy

Thank you for your interest in The Managers Funds and Managers AMG Funds. We recognize the importance of safeguarding your personal information. Your privacy is a priority, and we have designed policies and practices to achieve this goal.

As a mutual fund company, we may receive personal information from our customers, some of which is "nonpublic." We receive this information from the following sources:

  • Information received from account applications and other forms including your address, date of birth and social security number.
  • Information relating to your transactions with us, our affiliates and others, such as the purchase and sale of securities and account balances.

We do not sell information about you to outside marketing firms. As a matter of policy, we do not disclose nonpublic personal information about our present or former customers to third parties, including our affiliates, except as required or permitted by law (including as necessary for third parties to perform under their agreements with respect to the Funds). For example, we may disclose nonpublic personal information in order to process a transaction or service an account, to comply with legal requirements or upon the request of the customer. In addition, we may disclose information to non-affiliated companies that from time to time are used to provide certain services, such as soliciting proxies or preparing and mailing prospectuses, reports, account statements and other information. We may also share nonpublic personal information with our affiliates in connection with servicing customer accounts.

We restrict access to nonpublic personal information to those employees and service providers who are involved in providing products or services to our customers. In addition, we maintain physical, electronic, and procedural safeguards in order to protect your nonpublic personal information.

Privacy Policy Concerning Other Persons

During the routine course of business, MIG and the Funds may also obtain personal information from persons other than customers. It is the policy of MIG and the Funds to protect such personal information by employing physical, electronic and information destruction safeguards. MIG and the Funds limit access to such personal information, including social security numbers, to only those individuals who need such information to execute their employment duties or to comply with applicable law or regulation. Any other use, access or distribution of personal information obtained by MIG and the Funds is prohibited.
